Michael Ward

Administrator

In my recent past I worked as a welfare advisor and administrator for an organisation which provided therapeutic support to torture survivors. Some of my therapist colleagues were trained in EMDR. I could see that it really helped people with complex PTSD. As well as working alongside therapists I also have a background in mental health social work. All this experience has given me an interest in the healing of the mind. I am intrigued about EMDR and I hope to learn more about how it can aid recovery from trauma.

What is your favourite place on the planet?

There must any number of places on the planet that would inspire me but the place I visit most often is the Yorkshire Dales. I like its peace, stunning scenery, and its remote moors and hills which are also great for mountain biking.
