Anthea Sutton

Research and Academic Liaison

In addition to my EMDR UK role, I am a research fellow at the School of Medicine and Population Health at the University of Sheffield. I have worked in health research for over 20 years, mainly on evidence synthesis projects, such as systematic reviews. My background is in information science, and my expertise lies in identifying evidence and methods and tools to synthesise research. I have delivered teaching and training on research methods and skills to students, academic staff, external delegates and organisations. I currently lead an online professional development programme of health research and related topics delivered online via the University of Sheffield. I recently led a systematic review of EMDR for prevention and treatment of PTSD in adults, children and adolescents, and I lead the development and maintenance of the EMDR Publications database for EMDR UK members.
