The Association is a Registered Charity and a Professional Organisation with codes of Standards and Ethics, any advertisements circulated or published by the Association must on no account contravene the objects of the charity, its professional standards or ethical policies.
THE ASSOCIATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY REQUEST FOR ADVERTISING WITHOUT SPECIFYING A REASON.
The Association is owned by its membership. Advertising should be restricted to material that would likely be of service to the membership in general or to the objects of the Association. Advertising that potentially runs at cross purpose to the Association or undermines its standing or provision will be refused.
The Association workforce is largely comprised of volunteers, any advertising or potential advertisers making unreasonable demands on time and/or resource will be refused or, if considered appropriate by the trustees, an additional administration fee may be requested.
All advertisements should be honest and accurate; advertisements making false or unsubstantiated claims will be refused, repeat offenders will be banned.
Advertising should be professional in content and appearance and well presented. Advertisements can be refused if their appearance is out of keeping with the standards the Association considers acceptable.
Advertising in the form of mail shots should not be so frequent as to become a nuisance to members.
Regional Group Advertisements regarding NOT FOR PROFIT EMDR related CPD events for the membership will be free of charge.
In the event of multiple requests for Regional Group Advertising the Association will circulate a monthly Regional Group CPD event mailshot rather than a number of separate mailings.
Commercial EMDR related CPD events will be charged for. Please contact admin@emdrassociation.org.uk for current charges.
The EMDR Association UK do not advertise commercial EMDR CPD events that haven’t applied for EMDR UK CPD credits or aren’t eligible for CPD credits.
To ensure members continue to access official announcements and messages from the Association, the Association reserves the right to change the appearance of advertising mail shots to distinguish them from official messages.
