Why become a member?
Membership of the EMDR UK Association brings you lots of benefits as a therapist, and you need to be a member before you can become an Accredited EMDR Practitioner or Consultant. Membership and accreditation keeps EMDR practice in the UK high-quality, accountable and professional.
You can become a member of the EMDR UK Association after completing Part 1 of your EMDR training. This training HAS to be EMDR Europe accredited.

Regional Groups
The EMDR Association’s aim is for every member to have access to a regional group and the chance to contribute towards, and to be consulted on, Association matters. However, it requires the interest and availability of members at a local level to get involved on a voluntary basis, just as members of the Association’s board are all volunteers. By becoming a member of the EMDR Association UK you can join your Regional group. Many report this to be one of the most useful aspects of membership

Full Membership is £80 per year. Non-UK Resident Membership is £150 per
year.

You could be eligible for a free 1st year of membership
We now offer 1st year membership free to NHS employees, EMDR UK
regional group or SIG members, charitable sector or public sector workers and
EMDR trainees undergoing their standard accredited training. Please
complete the full membership application form and before making payment

Reduced Rate Membership
A reduced rate is available to applicants in receipt of low earnings. Please
contact membership@emdrassociation.org.uk for more information.
Reduced Rate Membership is £40 per year.
Dual Membership with EMDR All-Ireland
Applicants who reside in Ireland can apply for dual membership with EMDR
UK & EMDR All-Ireland. Dual membership is €120 – payable to All-Ireland Association. Please submit an online application form on the EMDR All-Ireland website.
