EMDR Therapy and Suicidality: A one day interactive workshop with Simon Proudlock, Consultant Psychologist & EMDR Europe Accredited Trainer
An innovative EMDR workshop that teaches participants how to use EMDR Therapy with individuals in an acute mental health crisis
There is a growing amount of research papers showing the efficacy of using EMDR with individuals who are suicidal – this interactive workshop will show EMDR Therapists how to use EMDR Therapy safely with this client group.
The workshop fee includes emailed handouts, CPD certificates and access to the recording of the workshop for 3 months after the event.
This workshop has been awarded 6 CPD points by the EMDR UK Association and is suitable for anyone who has completed all of their basic EMDR training.
Please note, the whole event must be attended to be awarded CPD points.
Bio
Simon Proudlock is a EMDR Europe Accredited Trainer and Consultant Psychologist working for the NHS and in private practice. He has worked in a Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) for over 11 years. In 2018 he achieved the award for Innovative Practice by the Division of Counselling Psychology for his research in EMDR with people who are suicidal.
