When working with complex cases or in time limited settings, EMDR therapists can find formulation/case conceptualisation, treatment planning, target sequencing and managing client expectations challenging.

This workshop will focus on case formulation, using the EMDR case formulation tool with simple and complex cases. The formulation tool will be explored, and various factors considered, as a basis for collaborative EMDR treatment planning and target selection, within both a symptom-focused and a comprehensive treatment plan.

Additionally, we will explore how this formulation tool can provide a useful format for when discussing cases in supervision / with supervisees.

This workshop will provide an opportunity to enhance confidence when using the case formulation tool and include practice exercises in pairs and small groups.
