Planting for the planet

The EMDR Association UK is delighted, in conjunction with Ecologi, to be planting 5000 trees following our hugely successful annual conference held in Liverpool in March. This continues the association’s partnership with Ecologi. A leading UK climate action platform, it now works with more than 24,000 businesses and – across a 40,000 strong community – has planted 89 million trees and delivered the avoidance or removal of 3.4 million tonnes of Co2, resulting in the restoration of more than 31,000m2 of wildlife habits in the UK.

Dr Alexandra Button, chair of the EMDR Association UK’s conference committee, says: “We recognise events such as our annual conference come at an environmental cost so we do everything we can in creating and delivering it to minimise our impact. Partnering with Ecologi is an important element of this and we are delighted to play a role in its hugely important work.”
