EMDR UK funds training and therapy for Ukrainian refugees in Polalnd

A group of psychologists who fled the war in Ukraine are pictured having completed their EMDR training in Warsaw. They will use their newly acquired EMDR therapy skills to help their fellow refugees who have also found safety in Poland. A donation of £10,000 from EMDR UK to EMDR Europe made this training and subsequent therapy for the refugees possible.  Sitting in the front row holding the Ukrainian and Polish flags respectively, are the trainers Marzena Oledzka, Vice President of EMDR Poland and Oksana Nakonechna, President of EMDR Ukraine.  They included an introduction to psycho-traumatology and dissociation, so relevant for those who have experienced the trauma of war and displacement.
